That's right!!! I received my 1600A Approval in near record time!!!!! It was such an uplifting day, I just can't get over it!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I htought for sure that because MN is taking a minimum or 3 months to approval 1600A's currently, I would for surely miss out on the opportunity to have my adoption completed before the courts closed for the rainy season. BUT MINE WAS PROCESSED IN JUST 3 1/2 WEEKS!
What this all means for those of you who are wondering what the heck an I600A is, it's the official pre-approval by the US Government (Immigration) for my adoption. Now, the next step is for all my materials (the dossier) to be sent to Ethiopia! Hip hip horray!
It's a miracle especially since just last week Immigration sent me a letter stating that I was missing 3 documents (which of course they weren't) and I was dreading what this delay meant. But somehow they pulled through!
Can't really write at this point in time... TOO ELATED!

YEAH!!!! I'm so happy this has happened so quickly! And I completely bummed that I'm finding out a day late. Any news on your program? So once your dossier is in ET will be submited to MOWA for approval and then request a court date? Sounds like there's a chance you could make it before the rainy season- right?
