"THE" Announcement :)

Hello Everyone! The following is probably not a surprise to most of you viewing this blog as there has been much spectulation, however, the great news can finally be announced:

I'M ADOPTING!!!

Yes, and you all know who :) The beautifully shy, playful, cuddly, soulful little girl known to everyone as Beamluk Amara, or Bamlie who, if truth be told, I wanted to adopt from the first day I met her, January 27, 2007. It's been a long road until now and the road will continue to lengthen as I continue to surpass all the legal and emotional hurdles that lay ahead.

I can't tell you just how long I've wanted to announce this on the blog! Now that I'm finally announcing it, all the words that were thought up months ago to place here are all jumbled up because the excitement is just too much for concentration.

However, immediately I must thank Renee and Geert who are currently in Addis Ababa picking up their little angels Maryn Tsegerida and Keller Tariku, who have gone out of their way to help Beamluk, as I remain thousands of miles from her. Thank you Renee, Geert, Maryn, and Keller, I can't tell you just how much it means to me that she's had your family for support and lots of playtime at the pool :)

Also to Gena Beam and her family for bringing Beamluk's birthday present to her (she's turing 6 already!) Though wishing I could deliver it in person, I know you'll deliver it with love and lots of hugs and kisses from me.

And lastly, to my family and wonderful friends who have supported and cheered me on when this didn't seem possible. It must work out in the end!
